Yes, it's definitely important for new college grads to have experience in various programming languages - C; C++; C#; Java, etc. You should highlight the projects you've done in your internships or your course work and let us know which languages you used. Don't be afraid to include personal projects you've done on the side, especially if they helped you pick up new tech skills or built on what you learned in your classes.
