A day at Microsoft's South Lake Union office in Seattle
A couple weeks ago, Ariel and I had a meeting in Microsoft's South Lake Union location (in Seattle proper) so we decided to hang out in the Touchdown Space for the afternoon. We reserved our own desks, but we opted instead to chill on some rather comfy couches. Ariel was kind enough to snap some pictures in her own Microspotting flair.
After a few hours of work and annoying other Microsofties, we headed downstairs to meet with the Windows Mobile and Online Services teams who, by the way, are hiring. :) I personally prefer working on the eastside since I live there, but I know there are others who are Seattle-or-bust. This office may be for you.
In related news, Ariel (who literally shares a desk with me here in Redmond) is across the water this week, chronicling her experiences as a South Lake Union Microsoftie. I hope she comes back to me next week. :)
Oh, and here are pictures of our adventures in the Touchdown Space, which any Microsoftie (eastside, westside, and beyond!) can use:
