At nearly 5 years old, JobsBlog was feeling all growns up ... and we decided it was time to move to our very own home ... http://microsoftjobsblog.com. Our new site is live, and comments are back on. We invite you to head on over and check it out. If you've bookmarked our old url or subscribed to our old feed, you should redirect seamlessly.
Why the new digs? JobsBlog had become more than just as a blog. It's now a main hub of activity for candidates preparing for their big interview day with Microsoft ... and since a blog isn't always the easiest way to find information when your nerves are on edge and the clock is ticking, we wanted to present our advice in a format that first-time visitors could easily navigate ... and long-time readers wouldn't find disruptive. We hope we've accomplished that. Ta da!
We want to send a special thanks out to Robert McLaws and Interscape Technologies for building our new home. I met Robert via MVP and blogging activities in the very early days of JobsBlog, and it's been so fun building the new site with someone who knows where JobsBlog has been, where it is now, and where it's going.

Couple of things though. The "Ask Us" button is giving a 404 error and when trying to comment on some older posts I am getting a unknown error.

I just looked at an MS job for a sales person on http://www.findrochesterjobs.com. It said that a degree was required. For a sales position? Really?
