Jim was in India...are you ready for this?! (Part I of II)

JimLast week, I experienced one of the best assignments - EVER! Jim at Taj Microsoft flew me to Hyderabad, India to train our recruiters on how to source passive candidates in India and around the world.  To say that I had a blast would be an understatement.  India is now more than a piece of geography to me, it is now a permanent fixture in my heart.

India is…

  • Friendly people; actually, lots and lots and lots of friendly people
  • A rich diversity of culture and thought
  • Kinetic and expansive
  • Mystery, history and the nouveau - side by side
  • And the Taj Mahal, oh, it was SO beautiful!

I took a lot of pictures and made a lot of new friends who were passionate (and that’s an understatement) about working for our India Development Center.  Click below to check out the video wall I made in celebration of my trip there.

Thanks again Microsoft!

    The url: <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://mymicrosoftcareer.com">http://mymicrosoftcareer.com</a> takes me to <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://mymicrosoftcareer.com">http://mymicrosoftcareer.com</a>/msq.aspx , which in turn gives me a 404. Whats up with that ?

Otherwise, a pretty interesting blog post. Kudos !

In India, Microsoft is concentrating their roles at southern part. There is no job opportunities in northern part of India. How to rectify this attitude?
