Can you find Rob's dog...again?

Jim's dog

A year or so ago Rob "Big Mac" McIntosh (The Man!) posed a deceptively easy question to the masses of recruiters, sourcers and general public.  "What is the name of my dog?" To find the answer, one had to scour the internet for carefully laid out clues to discover the answer.  To my knowledge, only a few were able to solve the riddle. (Including yours truly - yay!)  Well, in the spirit of the Rob's Dog challenge, I am submitting one of my own.

(What happens if you solve it?  Who knows?  I solved the problem back then and now I work here – sly grin.)

My name is Jim Stroud.  Can you tell me the name of my dog?  And more importantly, I want to know how you found the name of my dog.

Here are a few meaningless clues to get you started...

1.    The name of my dog is on the internet and it can be found with enough due dilligence.
2.    My dog has a funny, but familiar name (at least to people in my generation).
3.    My dog says "woof!"
4.    My dog doesn't like C++, java or any other type of coffee.
5.     My dog actually likes Cats, but has a disdain for Garfield.
6.     My dog, like George Clinton, is quite atomic.
7.    When it comes to sourcing, my dog has his own style.

Jim's dog is an Oscar Meyer weiner.  Yes, that is what he truly wants to be.  For if we knew where the heck this oscar meyer weiner was - Everyone could stop getting razzed by Jeremy!

    *LOL*

Nope! The name is not "Snoop Dogg" or Odie or Ruff (as someone else supposed offline).  Keep trying! Someone else found it today and I chat with him, I will post his name.

As Mulder used to say, "The truth is out there."
