How to avoid typos on your resume
The Washington Post's recent article Tiny Typos Can Add Up To a Big X On Your Résumé details a few suggestions on how to avoid typos on your resume.
The most interesting one, which I have yet to try, is to proofread your resume from the bottom up. I’m notorious for skimming too quickly, and this method just provides an extra check and balance since you are less likely to skip over sections.

Some really good basic tips in the article.
If you dont mind the chnace of appearing a little mad, set up a box and head height and read your CV to the box as if it was a person.
I fiond mistakes jump out at you when you do that. If this a little out there to tyou, read your Cv to another person.

Reading the actual text backwards is a useful spell-checking tool - it stops the text from being perceived as coherent sentences, so you focus on the individual words rather than the overall content.
Richard - I particularly like the number of typos in your comment, I find the irony delicious :) I assume it was deliberate...
